About Me

Hello, my name is Lesleah, I am an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) with over 16 years experience as a Registered Midwife.

I am a mum of 5 beautiful children, 4 earthside and 1 sweet angel in heaven. I have been working with families since I began my midwifery career in 2006 shortly after the birth of my first daughter.

I have been through the personal experience of breastfeeding struggles, formula feeding, mixed feeding, feeding with supply lines, exclusive expressing for a baby with special needs (airway and swallow disorders), expressing for babies in the neonatal unit and feeding a preemie and sadly managing lactation after infant death.

I became an IBCLC because I had first hand experience with all the reasons parents need support with feeding their babies and wanted to further my knowledge and skill set. I am passionate about offering the families in my community with a safe place to seek support, guidance and resources when they’re faced with difficulties in their baby’s feeding journey.
